The US corporate media doesn't get it - heavily biased toward anti-chavists.<BR/><BR/>At the same time, the hard left like Democracy now also don't get it, spewing out propoganda on their end.<BR/><BR/>We see the same bias in reporting toward Russia, Iran, and Cuba. <BR/><BR/>The bias in the US corporate media reflects, in part, (and in my opinion) the ignorance and nativist feelings of most Americans. <BR/><BR/>On the other hand, this bias is only held toward those leaders/countries who aren't lackeys of the US regime. See media's portrayal of Putin and Russia's recent elections. They act like Putin is a tryant - but HEY he has like a 80 percent approvial rating - isn't that what democracy is about - putting into power the wishes of the people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
